Chapel Hill Winery in McLaren Vale was built on the site of the Seaview Chapel and school house.

The 1865 ironstone Chapel still proudly stands today and is an integral feature of the tasting room.

Planting of the vineyard commenced in 1972 and the first vintage was in 1975.

Perched on the edge of the spectacular Onkaparinga Gorge, shallow rocky soils are a feature with sweeping views back over McLaren Vale and Gulf St Vincent.

We would love to host you in our iconic 150 year old Chapel and tasting room to treat you to an experience of fine wine, heritage, and art. The Tasting Room is located in our beautiful winery and we offer two wine tasting options, both complimented by friendly and knowledgeable service:

Cellar Door Experience - The winery produces an impressive selection of wines ranging from lighter style to more complex whites, rosÃ, red blends to full bodied reds, and fortifieds. At any given time we hand-pick eight different wines to be available for the cellar door experience.

Icon Tasting Experience - The Icon Range at Chapel Hill comprises our exceptional flagship red wines. We offer a seated tasting of the Icons accompanied by a platter of matched charcuterie, cheese and crackers. This is a truly unique experience in the region.
