The Handpicked Festival is set to mark its tenth anniversary with a spectacle, featuring its most acclaimed line-up to date.
The festival will spotlight performances from notable artists including Angus & Julia Stone, The Jungle Giants, Matt Corby, Pete Murray, The Dreggs, CYRIL, Coterie, and Azure Ryder.
This year, the festival is excited to announce the reunion of Angus and Julia Stone, who after a seven-year hiatus, will perform tracks from their new album, "Cape Forestier." According to the event organiser, Kate Cooper, "This iconic duo will enchant the crowd with their harmonious vocals and heartfelt lyrics, creating an intimate and emotive atmosphere."
The Jungle Giants are set to make a vibrant return to the festival. After their recent successful tours across the United Kingdom, they will bring their energetic beats and catchy rhythms from their latest single, "Trippin Up." Get ready for a high-energy set filled with infectious beats and vibrant melodies.
Matt Corby, a multi-ARIA award winner, will return to the Handpicked stage after seven years. Fresh from his new release, "Bricks" with Meg Mac, Corby is prepared to deliver soulful tracks from his album "Everything's Fine." Matt Corby will captivate the audience with his soulful voice and will no doubt deliver another truly unforgettable experience.
Notably, Pete Murray will also grace the stage with a selection from his impressive seven-album repertoire. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of his album, "Feeler," Murray is set to perform hits that have echoed through Australian homes over decades.
From the Sunshine Coast, The Dreggs will add a blend of indie-folk to the festival. Their recent surge in popularity and ticket sales in Australia positions them as a must-see act at this year's event.
CYRIL, known for his energetic DJ sets and viral TikTok tracks, will pump up the festival atmosphere with top hits like "Stumblin' In." With millions of streams, his performances promise to capture and energise the crowd.
Joining the festival lineup, Coterie comprises four Maori brothers whose living room recordings have resonated widely, topping charts in New Zealand and making significant strides in Australia.
Azure Ryder is set to provide a serene start to the festival with her poignant songwriting and vocal strength, recently highlighted in her EPs, which have captured significant attention in the music industry.
Apart from the musical extravaganza, Handpicked offers a full sensory experience. Attendees can expect a variety of food trucks showcasing local produce, a cocktail forest, and a market lane featuring arts, crafts, jewellery, and homewares. There's also a stay option for festival-goers at Tent City, making it a weekend of pleasure and relaxation amid picturesque vineyards.
