Richmond Oval

Richmond Oval (Hisense Stadium) is an oval in the west of Adelaide and home to the West Adelaide Football Club (Bloods).

The ground was first used in 1958 in a match against West Torrens of which the Bloods won by 10 points.

The ground has training lights, the main grandstand, the B.K. Faehse Stand, sits on the western wing with a capacity for about 1,500 people. The rest of the ground is terraced with grassed areas on the north-eastern and south-western corners.

Before entering into a naming rights agreement with Hisense in December 2019, Richmond Oval was known as City Mazda Stadium and Broadspectrum Oval prior to that. The venue now has lights suitable for night SANFL games.

In a three-year deal, the home of the Bloods will be known as Hisense Stadium throughout seasons 2020, 2021 and 2022 of the SANFL and SANFLW competitions. West Adelaide CEO Ben Hopkins said the club is thrilled to be partnering with Hisense Australia.
