Willunga Quarry Market
The Willunga Quarry Market is held every second Saturday of the month, from 9am to 1pm on Aldinga Road, Willunga. The market is never cancelled, though in extreme weather may close early.
The Willunga township is nestled at the foot of the south Mt Lofty Ranges, and presents the Fleurieu Peninsulas premier country market.
Established in 1986 the Willunga Quarry Market is a non-profit community initiated organisation managed by volunteers who strongly support tourism and our community by sponsoring projects providing opportunities for local youth and promotion and preservation of our history.
The Market offers a leisurely, stress free shopping and a social experience.
Permanent stall holders provide a monthly opportunity for customers to stock up on supplies. Seasonal stall holders provide seasonal plants and produce. Casual stall holders provide something different and keep the market interesting. They add a little spice!
Commonly sold items at the Market:
Produce: (fresh and home made) in season fruit and vegetables, local honey, almonds, olive oil, free range eggs, biscuits, cakes, tarts, apple and cherry pies, Greek specialties, jams, sauces and chutneys.
Plants: Such as annuals, bulbs, herbs natives and orchids. Perennials, proteas, salvias, seedlings, tuberous begonias, Gawler strain sweat pea seeds and more.
Crafts: Bead jewellery, bears, clocks, corrugated iron garden features, functional wooden products, handmade cards, hand made soaps, hand spun natural wool, international craft.
Miscellaneous: Collectables, crystals, gifts, haberdashery, novelties for children, paper toll, sheep skin products, a dash of second hand (including books) and a smidgen of commercial goods.
Customer Facilities:
Cafe, First Aid equipment, Public Toilet, shaded tables and chairs for relaxing or enjoying refreshments and entertainment, tourist information.
Stock up on local produce, brighten up your garden, buy a gift, search for a treasure or simply browse to your hearts content.

How to get to Willunga Quarry Market:
From Adelaide join the Southern Expressway at Bedford Park, and continue to the exit onto South Road Old Noarlunga. Take the Victor Harbour Road (left) and exit left after passing the Information Bay. Turn left onto Aldinga Road (Fleurieu Way) pass the historical Anglican Cemetery, travel just over a kilometre and you will find the market between Willunga Hardware Store and the Country Fire Service building on Aldinga Road, Willunga.

*Except on Saturdays when the Market/Football share the grounds. Then access through Aldinga Road gates only.
